Dare To Wear Denim - The Latest Trend Second Hand

wear denim style second hand

Denim is another trend that is popular this season.  This trend comes back again and again, so any denim piece you invest in will last you a very long time and be wearable for many years.

Whether you decide to go all out denim like Britany Spears and Justin Timberlake, or add just one item to your outfit, take a look through our outfit of the day's for some second hand denim inspiration.

Our first sexy denim trend starts with a knee length Roberto Cavalli skirt. Not all denim skirts have to be mini, although we do have quite a few in stock at the moment.  We matched our sexy fitted denim skirt with a contrast of a floaty Christian Dior orange top and finished with mid heel height multi coloured Paul Smith heels to tone in with the bright orange of the top.

Our second denim OOTD for this week was a more casual style.  This can be worn during the day while relaxing at home or while running errands.  The casual and stylish Paige jeans are the starting point of the outfit then joined with a long comfortable cotton shirt by Inwear.  Finishing the look with a pair of casual suede Ash wedge boots to make it easy to get from A-B.

The next look is one of my favourites this week. We chose a stylish Dolce & Gabbana denim jacket thrown over a 1940's style red dress by Marc Jacobs. We finished the outfit with these really cute KG low Mary Jane style heels. The denim jacket  gives the dress a more toned down daytime feel.

For the next two OOTD's we doubled up using the same denim shirt twice as we couldn't decide which outfit we preferred.  Then we realised this is a classic example of how to style the same item more than once to make it more versatile. The first look we used the Hobbs cotton denim shirt with a pair of white Versace jeans and completed the look using tan accessories. We included a pair of Sergio Rossi wedges and woven tan Michael Kors belt.

The second look we used the Hobbs cotton denim shirt for was a more dressed up style. We used the same jeans, although you could add a different pair of white jeans or trousers, and finished the look with some skyscraper heels by BCBG Maxazria.
